The moment all you have been highly anticipating since my last blog post (well the three people that actually read my blog) is finally here. I am very proud to announce the arrival of Mobile Betting Guide. It’s a site that has taken me probably much longer than it should have to of got it to this point, but nevertheless I can finally get it out on the market and hopefully start earning.

It’s my first site that I have completed on my own and I own 100% of the rights too. If I’m honest I should have got this thing up and away a fair few months back but other work commitments have seen me put it on the back burner somewhat. I have high hopes for the site and whilst it only has about 30 pages online at the minute, I shall be looking to get many more added over the coming weeks and months with already another 100+ pages of keyword titles and content prepared for it.

The next step for the site is to get the link building ‘strategy’ up and running. This will be my first time doing so and I am really worried about making mistakes in case of getting penalised. From the (many) articles I have read on link building it appears that there are tons of ways to go about it. Since I am starting out I think a little of each wont set me too far wrong. Mistakes will almost defiantly happen with this site, but I hope I can learn, if nothing else but for future projects. A pretty common trend seems to be that of keeping them natural. So I’m thinking some sort of resources page which will help people out. I’m even quite happy to link to other mobile betting sites if they offer something that I don’t. With the excitement of the launch also comes a few trepidations. Will it be a success? Does it seem spammy? Can I compete in this competitive market?

I’ve also been thinking about what I want from the site over say the next twelve months or so. Whilst I’m excited to see how it fairs, I’m also a pretty realistic person and I know it’s not going to be making me $1000 a week with a couple of months. In fact, I guess if it’s making me $1000 a month after 12 months I will be pretty pleased. Obviously I hope it does even better than that, but it will at least give me the confidence to know that I built something up and adapted my knowledge (albeit with the help from others to begin) to something that I now know how to build and make profitable. That is a pretty cool concept if you ask me!

I figure that if I stick at it and keep updating the site with new content I’ll at least put myself on the right tracks to making it work. Fingers crossed.

I mentioned in my last post about a ‘niche network’ of sites and I’ve been spending bits and bobs of time looking into things further in terms of keywords and possible affiliate sites/ income generating ideas for each. I’m defiantly going to outsource pretty much all the content for each site so it’s taken a fair bit of time to come up with a figure to get them all live and indexed. I have no problems with this, in fact it makes total sense as the list I have I know little about it, just that they will hopefully be decent niches.

I want to get the majority of the betting stuff uploaded to MBG which is around another 35-50 pages I think. Then I will likely let it sit for a while a see how that gets on. I’m hoping with the link building work I’m going to be putting in that it will give me a better idea of what works best when it comes to the niche network. Whilst that sits, I’ll try and get as much as the content uploaded as possible and get the niche sites up to a point where they are ready to launch. If I can get around 5 out of the 10 I currently have idea’s for live before Christmas then I will be very happy indeed.
