After 5 months of no blogging as to be honest, I just couldn’t be bothered, I decided to re-kindle the old flame!

Well, what’s gone on? Looking back I guess loads, but nothing….Cricket has come and gone for another year (seems to of flown over this season). Had a relatively good season averaging over 60 with the bat and hoping to be there or there abouts when it comes down to most league dismissals behind the sticks. Which is nice!

Pakistan are cheating b@stards!!! I’m sick of talking about them to be honest, but after todays accusations about the ODI yesterday, I think the series should just be done with and get to the bottom of it once and for all!

Getting back into the swing of things (no pun intended) with golf. I hadn’t really played properly since Uni, but the last few weeks of I’ve played maybe a dozen times and loving it really. ‘Invested’ in some new gear and am looking to get a membership at one of the local courses as thee are laods near by. Couple all that with some lessons from EMS’s very own resident golf professional, Stanters, and things are going very nicely indeed. Already broken 80 (79) which was a target for the year really, but to do it within the first few weeks of being back on it is very pleasing. Long term my goals are to get my membership sorted and get my handicap down to single figures. I’m going to give myself a 3 year time-scale in which to do so.

Poker….well I’ve fallen massively behind from my 300k vpp target for the year and to be honest, think I’ll struggle to get to 200k at this rate! However, I am back at 100nl and getting more comfortable there every day. I used to get really intimidated by the regs and how much more aggressive they are then say 50nl, but now I find myself just chilling out when I’m playing, staying patient and waiting to exploit them when (and it’s normally a matter of time) they spazz out on you 5bet jaming T5o after I open UTG!

So for now I’ll use this to not only track a bit of poker, but also golf progress as I’m realllyyyyy keen with it at the minute.
